Executive Training for Public Speaking and Media Interviews
As a former Broadcast Journalist and News Anchor for Worcester News Tonight (2001-2009) Jennifer has refined her public speaking skills on live television and on stage. She is regularly invited to host numerous community events and fundraisers throughout Central Massachusetts and has been a public speaking and interview instuctor for Colleges and Modeling Agencies. Jennifer has studied public speaking with the Dale Carnegie Public Speaking Program and draws from her years of experience peforming in community theatre, pageants and opera competitions in MA and NYC to bring personal experience to her coaching. Most recently, Jennifer was the first Guest Speaker invited to address the prestigious Corridor Nine Business Females First Luncheon in Marlboro.
In her training, Jennifer will share her techniques on how to manage anxiety in order to deliver a relaxed, effective and charismatic lecture. Jennifer has experience teaching public speaking to kids, teens, and adults, and has her Lead Teacher Certification in Pre-School Education. Whether assistant teaching at Assumption College or leading acting classes at Karon Shea Model Management in Worcester, Jennifer holds her students to high standards and personally coaches each of them to reach their greatest potential. Jennifer delivers comprehensive and entertaining lectures, talks about performing under pressure, and most importantly helps students embrace their unique gifts and talents. Jennifer then has students practice giving a speech or lecture, utilzing skills they have learned in her class.
In addition to public speaking, Jennifer is eager to share her knowledge in interview skills. Jennifer spent nearly a decade interviewing people of all ages and backgrounds and is skilled in extracting the information she needs to get her stories done. Jennifer offers one-on-one training as well as group classes to help you give your best interview for television or print media. At times you will be asked to share former interviews of yourself on video (when available), so she can provide personal critiquing. Jennifer also teaches you to “think like a reporter”; she knows what reporters want and gives you an inside view of the sound bites reporters are looking for. You want to make sure your interview does not end up on the cutting room floor! Jennifer will also discuss techniques in how to Prepare, Present and review your work Post interview.
