Jennifer pursued a successful career at Unum, a Disability Insurance Company in Worcester, serving as Senior Communications Consultant. During her time there she led the company’s charitable initiatives creating programs with corporate partners and non-profits. One of her greatest achievements was developing the company’s largest employee initiative to date, an unprecedented partnership with Worcester’s most diverse inner-city school, South High Community School.
Position your business for enduring success…Developing a passion for Corporate Social Responsibility, Jennifer continues to study the latest trends on how to build sustainable programs that positively impact companies’ profits. According to the new Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School, “companies are facing new demands to engage in public-private partnerships and are under growing pressure to be accountable not only to shareholders, but also to stakeholders such as employees, consumers, suppliers, local communities, policymakers, and society-at-large.” Jennifer is incredibly motivated by CSR and calls it “PR with a soul”; she loves helping businesses develop their social identity in this way. Relying on her personal experiences with the city’s numerous community organizations, Jennifer can help you develop a CSR strategy that will position your business for enduring success.

Deb Hopkins, former Executive Director, Girls Incorporated of Worcester:
“An abundance of talent, intelligence, creativity and dedication – coupled with an extraordinary work-ethic, attention to detail, outstanding communication and presentation skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others to work collaboratively towards shared goals – that’s the Jen Roy that I’ve known and thoroughly enjoyed working with for over a decade!
In her roles as a news anchor and community relations professional, Jen has become a very familiar and beloved face in the Worcester nonprofit community. As President of Junior Achievement of Central Massachusetts and CEO of Girls Inc., I had the pleasure of working collaboratively with Jen as she recruited and mentored volunteers from Unum to serve as role models and advocates for children enrolled in educational programs with the two agencies. Whenever Jen was personally involved in a nonprofit initiative that the company sponsored, there was a genuine sense of partnership and collaboration! Because she was always so personally invested in the success of the endeavor, others followed and joined in a commitment to achieving excellence.”
