Hey everyone! It’s been a few weeks since my last post! I want to fill you in on some exciting things happening with Jen Roy PR! First, I worked with JGD Design and Photography for my new branding! Joseph Gonzalez-Dufresne is WONDERFUL to work with and I feel he truly captured the professionalism and spirit with which I run my business in my new headshots. Joseph knows how important a great head shot is, and he works hard to incorporate personality into them. I love the editorial vibe of this series and I will be releasing more shots on this website soon. Please visit his incredible website at http://www.jgddesignphoto.com/.
I was also honored to have my make-up done by Helen Sheldon Beaumont of Bare Minerals. She is a master teacher and made my brown eyes look green with the colors she used on me. She gives master classes and I encourage you to follow her work at https://www.facebook.com/helen.s.beaumont?fref=ts. I am so happy with the final product!
I am very excited to announce I have been asked to speak at the 2014 John J. Jennings Educational Seminar for The Professional Fire Fighters of MA in June. I will be teaching Presidents and leaders of the local fire unions from 211 cities and towns across MA. I am will present a media and public relations seminar, and I will be creating a few similar courses for the public that I will announce soon.
Finally! In my quest to create more “Good News” for our community, I have started a facebook page called Good News Worcester! This has been incredibly gratifying, as I have been able to share incredible good news stories about people in our city. GNW has had a great response, and I’ve been so excited to find stories like the Worcester nurse who saved a father and son during one of our snow storms, when their car slid down an embankment! She waited 45 minutes in the freezing cold to wave down a passerby so they could call an ambulance. She is one of many true heroes that are featured on Good News Worcester every day, and I ask all of you to share YOUR good news stories and a photo to tips@goodnewsworcester.
That’s all for now! Looking forward to working with all of you this Spring!
